As a densely built city, Tirana is lucky to still have a few public parks located throughout its city. The largest being Grand Park. Here, you will find the Tirana Zoo, Presidential Palace, and The Botanical Park of Tirana, which are all located within the park’s 250 hectares.
There are various museums that are worth a visit, such as the National Historical Museum and the National Archaeological Museum. Check out some local monuments such as the Mosaic of Albania or the Clock Tower of Tirana. Do not forget to experience the nightlife! Tirana can be reached by air, arriving at its own international airport, 6km from the city centre. It is possible to arrive by ferry from Dubrovnik, Zadar, Trieste, Genoa, or Bari to name a few.
