Narva, Estonia
Narva is located on the eastern side of Estonia, very close to the Russian border. It is the third largest city in Estonia. During the Second World War, Narva was severely destroyed so it had to be rebuilt. If you look at the architecture, you will notice it is largely Soviet style. The easiest way to reach Narva is by train from Tallinn. While here, you may like to visit the Hermann Castle. From its tower, you can look over the river and see the Ivangoord Castle located in Russia. The two countries are separated by a small river.
