Mycenae, Greece
Located about 90km southwest of Athens. It is a well-known archaeological site. The home to the Acropolis of Mycenae. Another worthwhile place to visit is the Lion’s Gate, the only known sculpture that remains there from the Bronze Age. There are daily bus services from Athens and regular buses from Nafplio and Argos.
