The hotel was first restored in 1979 from an olive oil factory. It was recently renovated in 2006. Resting at the head of a long bay facing the beautiful landscape of the Elaphiti Islands the hotel is located in the harbour of Šipanska Luka, a village on the northern part of Šipan Island, lying metres from the sea with most of the 75 hotel rooms having beautiful views either to the sea or to the picturesque village.
